I thought I should put an update up. I added some videos on this site and some pictures on our picture site. Some are of the snow Korea got while we were in China. I can't hear them at the moment - we are getting our sound card installed this week Yippee! We haven't been able to use Skype and now we will be able to, but we will be without our computer for a few days.
Some of the pictures I added are from the snow Korea had while we were in China. It has tried to snow a couple of times - big flakes, but nothing has stuck much. This week we had a dusting, but I only saw it at night - not sure if how much there was because I was at school. We are wondering how long the cold will last - the weather is much more extreme here than SC. It is cold, but still not as cold as it was in Buffalo and Indiana. We haven't hit the negatives in Fahrenheit.
Cameron and I both have fought sickness these past few weeks. Cameron is still fighting a cough - pray that this goes away soon - it is very annoying and frustrating for him. I am feeling much better. I no longer have the itchy and annoying rash. We know for sure it wasn't the fabric softener. I have to try kiwi again to make sure it wasn't that - we think most likely it was the medicine.
Today we helped Charles and Ness with watching Matthew while they were moving into their new apartment. Since the person who lived there before abandoned it, there was a lot of cleaning up to do. Matthew was sleepy when he got here and slept for a while. We a few short visits from his parents while he slept. After bit later I sent Cameron to get groceries and that is when he really woke up. I found out quickly what taking care of a 1 year old is like. I was wishing I had some more toys - I had to think quickly of what he might be able to play with. I tried to baby proof as he played with plastic containers, plastic Christmas balls, and some plastic cups. I gave him an empty paper towel roll to use as a drum stick, he had fun hitting the container I gave him. I had to keep his attention. He soon got up and decided to explore a bit. Then he wanted to take all the ornaments off my Christmas tree, which I still have up. The greatest was when he found Cameron's moccasin sleepers and was dragging one around on his foot. He tried to get both on, but couldn't - he only had one on, and it was backwards. I wanted to take pictures, but my camera was out of batteries. I will definitely have it ready for the next time. He is a good baby. He didn't fuss much at all. They are on the 4th floor of the same building we are in so we will be close. It will help us be more social. We had fun.
After Cameron returned from groceries we had Charles and Ness for pizza. Before they came down we took turns occupying the bundle of curiosity. They left and I realized how tired I was from taking care of Matthew. Ness asked me if I still wanted babies after taking care of him. I said yes - oh and I forgot to mention that I changed his wet diaper - I had to remember how - haven't done that since high school. I remembered to change it fast at keep him covered - I didn't want an unexpected shower.
We rested for a while and then I started on dinner. I was planning to make chicken, but when Cameron went there were no chicken breasts. I've been wanting to try some new recipes, but haven't gotten around to it. I found out that leaving chicken in the fridge for around a week or so wasn't such a good idea - whew did it stink! We had spaghetti bake. It was good, but I told them next time they would get "real" food.
I think that is about it.
Pray for us as we plan for the future.
I'm getting ready to buy tickets for my brother's wedding in June. I want to get them before they go up anymore. We were trying to think of a way for Cameron to go, but decided it best all around for him to stay.
I need to go to sleep so I can be fresh in church tomorrow. I think we are also going to start our Korean lessons with a lady from the church.
